Subsequent increases should be 50 mg every 2 weeks, to a maximum dose of 400 mg per day. In clinical trials, some patients were maintained on doses less than 100 mg per day or other doses between 100 and 400 mg per day. Some people may be given alternate doses, depending on their individual situation.
